Acid Surge is a Pyromancy in Dark Souls.
In-Game Description
- Pyromancy foreign to the Great Swamp. Emit acid which corrodes weapons and armor.
- Not all pyromancy originates in the Great Swamp. One hears rumors of unknown pyromancers inhabiting various lands, and this spell is the work of one such outlander.
Availability[]
- Found in the Painted World of Ariamis. From the bonfire, head forward past the gate and turn right (where Xanthous King, Jeremiah spawns) and turn right again. The pyromancy should be on a corpse hidden in a nook.
General information[]
Acid mist destroys enemy weapon and armor durability on impact. Aside from its effect, it is identical to Poison Mist in terms of casting times, animation, etc.
Overview[]
This pyromancy has no place in PvE. It is also very rarely seen in PvP due to its long casting time and the ease in which enemies can avoid the cloud. However, it can be useful for area denial and for concealing the user's next attack.
