Acid Surge is a pyromancy in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Pyromancy of Carthus of the Sands.
Emits an acid which corrodes weapons and armor.
Carthus' swordsmen attached great value to victory, and would not shun the use of such pyromancies. For where is the honor in death and scoured bones?

AvailabilityEdit

Sold by Cornyx of the Great Swamp for 6,000 souls once he has been given the Carthus Pyromancy Tome.

EffectEdit

When cast, a mist is released in front of the caster, which causes low damage to equipment durability.

StrategyEdit

CampaignEdit

This Pyromancy is almost ineffective in PvE.

Online gameplayEdit

Acid Surge, due to the update 1.08 of October 2016, has a more powerful effect than before. It can be used to destroy opponent's equipment very quickly to receive less damage or also to inflict more. The main risk is the high time required to cast, that can be used by a rapid opponent to hit.
