For the Dark Souls II variant, see Affinity.

Affinity is a sorcery in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

A forbidden dark sorcery. Casts a dark manifestation of humanity.
It appears to be an expression of envy, or perhaps love towards another, that will tenaciously pursue its target. Even if, like so many human desires, it amounts to nothing but misfortune.

Sold by Karla for 15,000 souls.

Causes dark orbs to pursue any nearby enemy, exploding and dealing Dark damage upon contact.

Strategy Edit

PvE Edit

Affinity's appearance is very similar to Homing Soulmass or Homing Crystal Soulmass, and works in the same way.  If the Intelligence Stat is not very high, the damage will be insignificant, along with the large amount of FP it uses.

PvP Edit

As with similar spells, Affinity is useful to inflict extra damage to players, but is slower and can avoided with correct timing. This fact, and the FP cost, makes this a very unpopular spell to use.

Trivia Edit

This spell has a very decreased damage output compared to the sorcery Pursuers from Dark Souls, and the hex Affinity from Dark Souls II.
