For the Dark Souls III variant, see Elkhorn Round Shield.

Benhart's Parma is a small shield in Dark Souls II.

In-Game Description

Small shield of Benhart of Jugo.
This parma, emblazoned with a family crest of some sort, has clearly been around for several generations, but has no special value.

Acquired from Benhart of Jugo by summoning him, and ensuring that he survive three boss encounters.  The shield can, then be obtained from him in his final resting place, the Memory of Orro.  Alternatively, it can be acquired from Melentia by killing Benhart, at any time, for 5,000 souls, along with the rest of Benhart's gear.

Benhart's Parma has a very high resistance to Magic, second only to the Magic Shield. Its other elemental defenses and resistances are average, as well as its stability and durability. However, the strength requirement is fairly low, making it a suitable choice for players without much strength or vitality.

Overall, it is a relatively-balanced, lightweight shield, but some other small shields will still outperform it in specific scenarios.
