The Black Leather Armor is a chest armor piece in Dark Souls. It is part of the Black Leather Set.
In-Game Description
- This armor made of smooth black leather is extremely quiet, a good thing for those who hide in the shadows.
- The leather itself is thick, offering a decent level of protection.
Availability[]
- Starting equipment for the Thief class.
- Lower Undead Burg, in one of the buildings that an Hollow Thief is in.
Characteristics[]
- As an armor piece that is encountered early in-game, it has high poison resist that can prove to be very useful in the Depths and Blighttown.
- Almost identical to Wanderer Coat in terms of all 4 categories of physical defenses, Black Leather Armor offers less resistance in all 3 elemental categories, but more bleed and poison resistance (for a similar carry weight).
- Brigand Armor has slightly more lightning and strike resistance, but less thrust, fire, bleed and poison resistances (for the same carry weight).
