Skeletons that are intertwined with a spiked wheel. They roll towards their targets.
They attack by rolling towards their target and can easily break a player's guard. Having high poise or rolling can make fighting them easier. However, their rapid attacks can break poise surprisingly fast, or they may turn around and surprise the player after an attack is dodged. Engaging in direct combat isn't required at any point in the game. Paladin Leeroy can be summoned to fight them in The Catacombs and the sewers of The Painted World can be skipped by going to the Undead Dragon and jumping down after defeating it.
As a group they are very dangerous, but individually they are easy to dispatch. It is best to attempt to draw them out one at a time, rather than try to engage them all at once. However, by standing on an elevated ledge, several skeletons can be lured into a group, setting up for an easy plunge attack.
