Caitha's Chime is a sacred chime in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Sacred chime blessed by Caitha, goddess of tears. Rare even amongst Carim clerics.
Affected by intelligence, a rare thing for miracle catalysts, and also agreeable with miracles that lean towards the Dark. Its existence is concealed in the name of the Archbishop, as it is anathema.
Skill: Gentle Prayer
Recovers HP for a period of time, albeit extremely slowly. Works while equipped in either hand.

Found in the Grand Archives, on a corpse lying above a group of Lothric Knights.

This chime applies Intelligence scaling to dark miracles, making it a better alternative than most chimes for such spells. However, when compared to the Sunless Talisman, it has a minute difference in damage that it is clear that Caitha's Chime is indeed the worst option as it lacks the Unfaltering Prayer Skill.

Upgrades Edit

Reinforced with Twinkling Titanite.

  • This chime makes a return from Dark Souls 2, with some small differences. Contrary to its predecessor, this chime can also cast regular miracles.
  • The Sunless Talisman is superior due to its similar damage and skill that allows players to poise through attacks.
  • Can be traded with Pickle Pee in exchange for the Help me! Carving (only once per playthrough).
