The Carthus Bloodring is a ring in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Ring worn by warriors of the sand kingdom, Carthus. Boosts rolling invincibility, at the cost of defense.
The sword technique of Carthus allows for fluid movement with a curved sword. Masters of the technique are said to dazzle their opponents by moving as weightlessly as a grain of sand.
They live for their High Lord Wolnir, conqueror of most kingdoms known to their people.

Found in the Catacombs of Carthus.

From the Catacombs of Carthus bonfire, go downstairs and head right. Turn right at the corner and follow the long hallway inhabited by several Skeleton Wheels and Writhing Rotten Flesh to the end, where a corpse can be found holding the ring.

Boosts rolling invincibility while reducing all damage absorption by 15.

In regard to invincibility frames, the player typically has 28 frames of invincibility with 18 frames of recovery at 60 FPS, which equals 14/9 at 30 FPS. Using this ring grants 38 frames of invincibility with 8 frames of recovery at 60 FPS, which equals 19/4 at 30 FPS.

  • Even though this ring increases invincibility rates considerably, one wrong move could prove to be quite damaging if struck by an enemy.
