Chaos Bed Vestiges is a pyromancy in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Traces of the tumultuous seedbed that birthed the beings known as Demons.
Hurls chaos flame that scorches vicinity.
Demons born from fire bore its smoldering essence and perished soon after. Man shares this rapport with the flames to this day.


Obtained by transposing the Soul of the Old Demon King with Ludleth of Courland.


Quickly hurls a chaos flame that scorches the vicinity. Its spell design is similar to Soul Vortex in that it has a large sphere in the middle and smaller projectiles circling it that serve to hit any foes on the way/adjacent to the target (though damage is rather low). If this spell hits directly, it causes great damage; excluding the lava pool produced by Great Chaos Fire Orb, this spell is the most powerful direct-damage pyromancy in the game. While both Great Chaos Fire Orb and Seething Chaos can deal more damage under optimal circumstances, enemies can move away from the lava pool left by Great Chaos Fire Orb, and Seething Chaos requires manipulation and timing in order to deal the most damage.

Unlike its predecessor, Chaos Bed Vestiges does not leave a lava pool, has less range and will begin to arc after a shorter distance (approximately slightly longer than Fire Orb). However, it is easier to reach enemies at higher elevations with this spell than it is with the various "fireball" spells. As well, like its predecessor, its extremely short cast time and fast travel speed allows players to use this spell to quickly punish enemies' openings.
