The Chime of Want is a sacred chime in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- Sacred chime created from the soul of Nashandra. Greatly amplifies spells.
- The old one of the Abyss was reborn in death, split into miniscule fragments, and spread across the land.
The tiniest of these pieces, precisely due to its size, was the first to restore its form.
Availability
Received by trading Weaponsmith Ornifex the Soul of Nashandra and 10,000 souls.
Characteristics
The Chime of Want provides good scaling for both Lightning and Dark damage, making it an excellent chime for players that meet its stat requirements.
On top of its high damage output, the Chime will also further boost the damage of all spells while it's active.
The Chime of Want is the strongest chime available for Hexers, although Caitha's Chime can be considered a side-grade to it due to its higher Casting Speed and lower Faith requirement. The Chime of Want loses to the Dragon Chime when it comes to Miracles.
Notes
- The Chime of Want is the smallest Chime available to players. This means that it can be difficult to spot in PvP, especially if the player has certain visual effects or Hand armors. This can be used to surprise opponents who might think the player is unarmed.
