The Craftsman's Hammer is a hammer in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- An old smithing hammer.
- Looks like a typical hammer, but is in fact incredibly sturdy. Some say it was the hammer used long ago by a famed blacksmith of yore.
Availability[]
Found by lighting the torch in Steady Hand McDuff's forge. Once you light the torch go back to the bonfire and rest. When you get up he'll be sitting by the light instead of on a chest. The chest also contains Twinkling Titanite which can be used to upgrade the Craftsman's Hammer.

- The hammer's description alludes to being the same Blacksmith Hammer belonging to Andre of Astora, due to its distinct look and moveset.
- This is a very useful weapon for the Ruin Sentinels fight found directly afterwards as it does massive Strike damage. If you have the strength for it, or if you don't already have a leveled up hammer-type weapon, consider leveling it to +1 and using it.
- It is also a solidly powerful weapon overall for a strength build and does massive damage to armored foes throughout the game while being relatively fast.
