The Crimson Set is a light armor set in Dark Souls.
Availability
This set is found in Blighttown near the wooden elevator and the exit to the Valley of Drakes. It is located across a branch/bridge on a corpse with a chest containing the Remedy spell next to it.
Plot
The set is worn by Ingward and the other two sealers of New Londo, Yulva and one of Lautrec of Carim's unnamed companions, although said companion does not wear the head piece. The Mask of the Sealer symbolizes the resolve of the sealers to keep the seal shut and to demonstrate their atonement for those sacrificed in the process of sealing what is now the New Londo Ruins. The set that the player finds likely once belonged to Yulva, as her sorcery, Remedy, is found with it.
Characteristics
This armor set offers no Poise. However, it gives good Curse resistance and good Physical defense for its weight, as well as average Poison/Bleed resistances. It also provides high Magic defense and average Lightning defense, with the Fire defense being slightly weaker. The Crimson Set is slightly stronger against Strike type attacks.
