Past Nominations

Nominations are listed in chronological order.

Becoming a Discussions Moderator

A user must be nominated by another user, and in certain circumstances will be allowed to nominate themselves for the position. These instances include: a lack of active staff to nominate, a dire need for a Moderator, or in the case where it is practical or helpful but no one has nominated the person. The nomination will be discussed by the community on the Forums, and ultimately the Administrators will decide whether or not to make the user a Moderator.

Suggestions for Promotion

If a user wishes to be promoted to this position, they should attempt to meet the following criteria, though it is not required:

  • Active participant across most or all of the Forum boards and in the Chat
  • Show fair, cool-headed demeanor when speaking with other users
  • Be part of the community for a decent amount of time
  • Make attempts to help other users wherever possible
  • Make attempts to be a part of the Wiki in aspects of the Wiki, such as editing or chat.
