- For the Dark Souls variant, see Demon's Greataxe.
The Demon's Greataxe is a soul-transposed greataxe in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- This greataxe, a favorite among demons, contains the strength of fire.
- The demons, born of Chaos, harbor fire, and yet they are twisted and malformed, such that they were never meant to be.
- Skill: Demonic Flare
Briefly cause flame within to flare, and smash it upon earth and foes.
Availability[]
Transpose the Soul of a Demon with Ludleth of Courland.
Characteristics[]
The Demon's Greataxe is a very potent weapon in the right hands. Since it scales from three different stats, it can surpass most weapons in attack damage at very high soul levels. This is compounded by the fact that many enemies in the game are vulnerable to fire. Thus, it is ideal for players progressing through higher New Game Plus playthroughs.
The Demon's Greataxe is also a strong contender in PvP. The weapon art, Demonic Flare, provides very high poise and unleashes a massive area-of-affect blast, making it an ideal choice for facing multiple foes at once. It also consumes noticeably less stamina than other greataxes.
