The Dragon Head Stone is an offensive item in Dark Souls II.

In-Game Description

A stone containing the strength of dragons. Transforms the head into a roaring dragon, an effect that will remain until death.
The zealots who sought everlasting life are said to have conducted rites to imbue stones with the strength of dragons, but the truth of such claims is questionable.

Given by Magerold of Lanafir upon reaching Rank 1 in the Dragon Remnants covenant.

The Dragon Head Stone serves the same purpose as it did in Dark Souls; the player is able to turn their head into that of a dragon and is granted the ability to breathe fire from it. When equipped in an item slot, the player may use the item button to breathe fire. For however long the player holds the item button, they will breathe fire continuously, steadily decreasing stamina. Moving around in any direction will not cancel the fire breath and the player may aim the fire breath elsewhere.

  • Oddly enough, the dragon breath has no effect on explosive barrels. This is likely an oversight by the developers.
