For the Dark Souls variant, see Estoc.

The Estoc is a thrusting sword in Dark Souls II.

In-Game Description

A large thrusting sword with a blade.
The sturdy, slender long blade is designed to pierce the armor of enemies, and its strong attack can even inflict damage upon foes hiding behind shields.
Though primarily a thrusting sword, its blade can also be used to slash your enemy.

AvailabilityEdit

Sold by Blacksmith Lenigrast for 1,500 souls.

CharacteristicsEdit

The Estoc features thrust attacks with moderate range and slashes to the side that bypass shields. It has a fair base damage and moderate scaling, and has better range than the Rapier. As with most thrusting swords, the Estoc can be used from behind the shield.

The Estoc synergises well with the Stone Ring and weapon buffs. As this weapon hits very quickly, Estoc users can easily stunlock/poise break their opponents. This makes it one of the best thrusting swords for PvP

It is notable for being the only strength-oriented rapier in the game, attaining a B-scaling in strength when fully-reinforced.
