The Exile Armor Set is a heavy armor set in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Armor of the watchdogs of Farron's Keep.
After the Legion's Watchers became Lords of Cinder, the wolf blood dried up, and Farron was consumed by a festering wood.
Within the wood, an emaciated old wolf commands watchdogs to defend the sanctity of sleeping warriors.
Both the exiles were surely watchdogs themselves, for Farron has always been a land of itinerants.

Sold by the Shrine Handmaid once the player has defeated the two Exile Watchdogs in the Road of Sacrifices who guard the way to the Farron Keep.

Interestingly enough, the Exile's Set has a notable weakness against thrust damage, but a higher tolerance to strike damage, which is unusual for a heavy armor set, in which this trait is typically reversed (weak to strike, stronger against thrust.)

Although it is extremely heavy for a heavy armor set found in the earlier parts of the game, it offers spectacular physical and elemental defenses, along with a very high resistance to bleed and poison, and overall solid poise.

Considering the location it is found in, it is a solid choice of protection when one is traversing through Farron Keep, if the high weight is not too off-putting, or can be managed.
