The Fallen Knight Set is a medium armor set in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Armor of an order of fallen knights who disbanded and fled, but met untimely deaths.
- The drab, tattered cloth conceals tough, black metal which provides dependable protection from fire.
It is just possible to make out the majestic gold engravings on its surface.
Availability
Found in the Road of Sacrifices. In the Crucifixion Woods swamp area, it is found on a corpse before the ladder to Farron Keep, where the two Exile Watchdogs stand guard.
Characteristics
The Fallen Knight Set is an armor set that possesses an unorthodox array of defenses.
Unlike other plate armor sets of its weight class, it boasts a surprising resistance against Strike and Lightning damage, and has very respectable tolerance to Fire damage. Like most other plate armor sets, it is somewhat weak to Dark damage.
However, the compromised cloth parts of the armor render it vulnerable to Slash damage, something that the vast majority of plate armor sets are quite strong against, and has a particular vulnerability to Magic damage as well. It also has rather poor resistance to status effects, as it is comparatively easy to inflict Bleed and Poison than with other plate armor sets. And finally, it provides lower than standard Poise for its weight, making it a poor choice for players who which to wield weapons with Hyper Armor frames.
