Spellswords are enemies in Dark Souls II: Crown of the Ivory King.
Lore[]
Spellswords are sorcerers of Eleum Loyce. They were among the many defenders protecting it against the encroaching Old Chaos. When the doors of the city were flung open, the place turned frigid and lifeless. However, the sorcerers remained dutifully on guard.
Variants[]
There are two variants, a regular type and slightly stronger type with ice crystals on his back.
Location[]
Multiple Spellswords are found throughout Frozen Eleum Loyce.
Combat[]
- Cast Spell: Spellswords cast a spell similar to Soul Arrow if the player is far away.
- Strike: Spellswords attack the player with two or three strikes of their swords or spears.
Notes[]
- The Spellswords with ice crystals on their backs can't be backstabbed and have a considerable higher amount of Poise than their regular counterparts, making them much more difficult to stagger.
