The Black Knight Glaive is a halberd in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Glaive of the black knights who wander the lands. Used to face chaos demons.
- The unique attack of this glaive greatly reduces enemy poise, reflecting the tremendous size of the enemies that the knights have fearlessly faced.
- Skill: Spin Sweep
Sweep foes in a large spinning motion, and utilize momentum to transition into and overhanded strong attack slash.
Availability[]
Located in the Untended Graves, in the same arena where Champion Gundyr is fought.
The halberd can be picked up before starting the boss fight. As one enters the arena, immediately turn right and hug the wall to find it.
Characteristics[]
Like all other weapons wielded by Black Knights, the Black Knight Glaive is a powerhouse of destruction that can wreak havoc in the right hands.
As with its cousins, the Black Knight Glaive has high base damage and scales well with both Strength and Dexterity, making it a true quality weapon. However, unlike other Black Knight weaponry, the Glaive scales better with Dexterity than with Strength, meaning that it is more beneficial to keep both stats equalized. Also like its cousins, it possesses unique strong attacks that inflict increased Poise damage on targets, and in this case grants it a much stronger moveset due to not being burdened by an easily punishable two-handed strong attack.
Like other Black Knight weapons, the Black Knight Glaive inflicts 20% more damage against demons. This makes it an ideal weapon for fighting enemies like the Demon Prince.
