- For the Dark Souls II variant, see Crimson Parma.
The Crimson Parma is a Small Shield in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Standard round wooden shield. It is daubed with a red paint that symbolizes the blood of warriors.
- Wooden shields are light, manageable, and offer relatively high magic absorption.
- Skill: Parry
Repel an attack at the right time to follow up with a critical hit. Works while equipped in either hand.
Availability[]
- Sold by the Shrine Handmaid for 800 souls.
Characteristics[]
An early-game Small Shield that is available to the player upon stepping foot in Firelink Shrine for the first time, the Crimson Parma has no major defining characteristics, save for its low attribute requirements. Like other Small Shields, it is at its weakest when used to block attacks, but makes up for this by having more and faster parrying frames than a Medium Shield. It has moderately respectable elemental defenses for its weight, and is most resilient against Magic attacks.
Upgrades[]
Reinforced with Titanite.
