The Washing Pole is a katana in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- A katana of Unknown origin.
Crafted with a peculiar yet refined technique.
- The extremely long blade allows for strikes from great distances, but its construction makes it extremely fragile.
Availability[]
- Guaranteed drop from the Mimic in the Dragon Shrine (NG only).
- In NG+, it can also be obtained by defeating the two Pursuers in Drangleic Castle's throne room, behind Chancellor Wellager.

- Found on a corpse in the second poison pit in Harvest Valley.
- Dropped from the Mimic in Drangleic Castle.
Characteristics[]
The Washing Pole possesses a far longer reach than any other katana; making it a strong choice for online play and providing a much easier time to hit opponents. Applying moves that are similar to the Uchigatana, though its strong attacks are much slower than usual. Although it is the longest, it is also one of the least damaging of its class and also suffers from immensely low durability; even lower than the Bewitched Alonne Sword.
