The Flamberge is a greatsword in Dark Souls II.

In-Game Description

A greatsword with an undulating blade. The unique shape is designed to pare the flesh, and is highly effective at causing bleeding.
Flamberge literally means "flame blade," but it also seems to bear a certain creature's likeness.

Availability[]

Bought from Chancellor Wellager in Drangleic Castle for 4,200 souls.

Scholar of the First Sin[]

Found on a corpse on a small landing in Huntsman's Copse. One must drop down from the area in which Merciless Roenna invades.

General information[]

The Flamberge is a greatsword with a unique blade suited for flaying the flesh of its foes, causing the rended wounds to bleed. As such, this weapon inflicts bleed build-up while also offering large amounts of damage.
