The Gargoyle Bident is a spear in Dark Souls II.

In-Game Description

A two-pronged spear that imitates a weapon mentioned in an ancient text.

Gargoyles are said to guard castles and forts from ill fortune, and they have appeared in many forms in all the great lands throughout history.

Some of them are so meticulously crafted that they look as if they might come to life.

Characteristics

Due to its high Strength scaling, this weapon has one of the highest attack rating of spears. This may appeal to players using Strength-oriented builds that want a weapon which deals heavy thrust damage, but don't want the slow attack speed or weight of a Lance.

Moveset

Attack	Description
One-handed Weak Attack	Solid, forward thrust. Long reach. Further input delivers faster lunges with longer reach.
One-handed Strong Attack	Stronger, forward thrust. Further input delivers the same.
Two-handed Weak Attack	Shorter, forward thrust. Further input delivers another lunge slightly faster and with slightly more reach.
Two-handed Strong Attack	Long, hard, forward thrusts.
Jump Attack	Player jumps into the air and stabs the spear downward.
Two-handed Jump Attack	Same as one-handed.
Running Attack	Player stabs the spear forward.
Two-handed Running Attack	Same as one-handed.
Rolling Attack	Player slams the spear to the ground in a downward slash.
Two-handed Rolling Attack	Player brings the spear from the lower-left of their body to the upper-right in a slashing maneuver.
