This boss is pretty challenging. He moves fast and has medium range attacks, but most of his attacks can still be avoided somewhat easily.
I recommend locking onto the target as his moves fairly quickly and dodges sometimes. Lock on and let him lunge at you. As he's lunging towards you, you should roll -towards- him slightly to his right or left. You will most likely avoid his attacks.
He has 4 methods of attack:
-He will rush towards you and slash once with his sword. This is by far the easiest to avoid and all you really have to do is roll towards him to his right or left.
-He will swing horizontally. This is a little tricky to avoid but rolling towards him again should suffice.
-He will do a triple combo. You can either roll three times for each swing or stay back for the first two swings and then try rolling behind him for his final swing.
-He will charge up and try to thrust his sword into you. If he manages to get you, the attack will inflict curse and does a good amount of damage on you.
Killing him gets you 'Soul of the Pursuer', 'Ring of Blades', and 17,000 souls
