- For the Dark Souls III variant, see Carthus Flame Arc.
Flame Weapon is a pyromancy in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- Pyromancy that imbues weapon in other hand with fire. Adds fire damage to the types of damage the weapon already inflicts.
- Pyromancy and sorcery are said to be like oil and water, but in fact their origins can be traced to a common source.
Availability[]
Received by trading the Old Witch Soul and 10,000 souls with Straid of Olaphis.
General information[]
When cast, sets the weapon in the opposite hand alight, much like using a Charcoal Pine Resin does. The flames add 50 Fire attack to any weapon, as well as boosting the player's fire bonus by 30%, for 90 seconds. This spell is best used on Fire infused weapons. On un-infused weapons, Charcoal Pine Resin gives better results, especially if the weapon has inherent Fire damage, such as the Chaos Rapier (which is recommended to leave un-infused).
Attunement milestones[]
