The Greatlance is a pike in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- This lance features a long pole, and was originally intended to be used by knights for jousting.
- This weapon is primarily used in charging attacks, and would require tremendous strength and dexterity to be handled by a mere foot soldier.

Found in Lothric Castle.
From the Dragon Barracks, go upstairs and head left to find the Greatlance guarded by a red-eyed Lothric Knight.
Characteristics[]
The strong attacks have the ability to hit enemies multiple times. The lance's general feature of each attack advancing the player forward can be used to punish retreating players, however, due to the buildup before each strike, the greatlance is easily avoided and dodged in most scenarios, making it inadequate for PvP.
For PvP, if you can land a weak attack while two-handing or using a shield allowing use for a weapon art while one-handing, you can follow up the weak attack with the weapon art which hits multiple times.
