- This bladeless strike weapon is effective against most foes, and can break the guard of a shield.

Availability[]
- Starting equipment of the Cleric class.
- Sold by Greirat of the Undead Settlement for 600 souls.
Characteristics[]
The Mace is a simple, yet effective, weapon that excels on Strength-oriented builds. Due to its nature as a hammer, it is capable of both breaking guards and poise with relative ease. However, its range is somewhat limited, and it is marginally heavier than most other weapons in its class.
Additionally, it can make some limited use of poise, making it one of the lightest, and fastest, weapons that can reliably trade with enemies. This, coupled with its skill, means the mace is an excellent choice both as a main weapon and as a backup for players with slower, more powerful weapons.
