The Old Cell Key is a key item in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Key to the oldest cell in the Irithyll dungeon.
- The first prisoner of the dungeon was a lone giant. Cells for men were built at his feet.
Availability[]
Found in the Irithyll Dungeon, at the end of the sewage system inhabited by Hound Rats and opposite to a Mimic. Picking up the key unleashes several Basilisks in the area.
Usage[]
Unlocks the oldest cell in the Profaned Capital. From the Profaned Capital bonfire, climb down the nearby ladder and proceed through the level until reaching a ruined church located among the toxic swamp. Climb up the ladder on the right and head forward until reaching the rooftops (fighting the Court Sorcerer along the way). Look for an open window nearby and jump inside. The cell can be found just ahead, with a body inside holding the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring.
If the player followed Siegward's questline, he can also be found at this location and will present a Titanite Slab in gratitude for freeing him.
