The Pharros Mask is a head armor piece in Dark Souls II.

In-Game Description

A mask depicting Pharros' contraption. Tears flow from the eyes of this mask, drenching its wearer.

The majority of Pharros' creations are perplexing to reasoned men, and this mask is no exception.

Availability

• Located on a corpse in the Iron Passage after the Smelter Demon battle.

Notes

• Soaks the wearer in water, increasing Fire Defense by 100 points and lowering Lightning Defense by 100 points. This is not the same as the waterlogged status. The water also prevents the wearer from being covered in other substances, such as oil or poison (it will not prevent the initial buildup from breaking poison-filled vases, though).
• Wearing the mask will cancel any Poison buildup present, although it cannot cure the poisonous status effect itself.
