Lesser Crabs are enemies in Dark Souls III.
Description[]
Small crabs that primarily appear in the swamps surrounding the Road of Sacrifices, although one can be found in the Catacombs of Carthus. Although weak and easily slain, they can be a dangerous distraction from stronger enemies.
Locations[]
- Road of Sacrifices
- Numerous crabs are found throughout the water-filled portion of the area.
- Catacombs of Carthus
- A single crab will spawn every time a Skeleton Boulder breaks apart; that is, unless it has a fixed item to drop first.
Strategy[]
Lesser Crabs pose little threat, unless the player is critically injured, and can be ignored or disposed of easily. They become much more dangerous if Great Crabs are present, as they will attempt to distract the player from the larger enemy. Usually, 1 or two strikes is enough to kill them, and they have almost no way to retaliate.
