Aurous' Set is a light armor set in Dark Souls II.
Availability[]
Obtained by talking to Maughlin the Armorer after spending a total of 15,000 souls at his shop. Maughlin will take pity on the player, and give them the set for free if they have 0 souls at the time.
Rhoy the Explorer, a Dark Spirit who invades in the Grave of Saints, will also drop individual pieces of this set when killed.
Description[]
Each piece of the set confers a bonus to the player's total maximum Equip Load, strongly mitigating its weight.
The set requires Twinkling Titanite to upgrade and offers minimal armor bonuses once upgraded. However, due to the Equip Load boosting effect and the light weight of the individual pieces, the set and its parts have an exceptional weight-to-defense ratio.
