Wisps are enemies in Dark Souls.
Location[]
Wisps are mainly found in The Catacombs. However, some Wisps may be present in New Londo Ruins as they can be created by the non-respawning Mass of Souls enemy.
Description[]
Floating heads that explode when in close proximity to their target (similar to Wrath of the Gods).
Notes[]
- Wisps cannot be targeted or damaged in any way. They appear to be more akin to a projectile rather than an enemy type due to their nature.
- All Wisps will respawn every time the area is loaded, regardless if the player rested at a bonfire.
- Wisps will become much less likely to explode if the player is wearing the Ring of Fog.
- Wisps are one of the few enemies capable of damaging other enemies.
