- For the Dark Souls III variant, see Black Serpent.
Fire Snake is a pyromancy in Dark Souls II: Crown of the Old Iron King.
In-Game Description
- Pyromancy created by the magus Eygil,
loyal follower of the Old Iron King.
Creates several pillars of flame
in front of the caster.
- Eygil sought to grant fire a will of its own.
This pyromancy was conjured up to behave
like a snake, writhing toward its prey,
with a mind to strike.
Availability[]
- Can be found in a chest within Brume Tower.
General information[]
Creates several pillars of flame in front of the caster. Like the name suggests, the pillars swerve the way a snake would slither, making it somewhat unpredictable the further it gets from the caster. However, when locked on a target it will home in quite aggressively and can perform large turns in order to reach the target.
In PvP this can be a highly useful spell as some players tend to have some trouble rolling through it or otherwise it forces the player to roll wasting stamina or manipulating where they go.
Notes[]
- Despite the number of pillars created, Fire Snake only hits once and thus can be rolled through.
Attunement milestones[]
Like all other spells, the amount of casts per slot increases upon reaching certain Attunement milestones:
Attunement Level | Amount of Casts |
---|---|
10 | 2 |
43 | 3 |
94 | 4 |
