The knights are relentless and can hit for high damage against lower-vitality players, but they are hindered by trees and hills.
- As with other members of the Forest Hunter Covenant, they will no longer be hostile once the player accepts invitation from Alvina and joins their ranks.
- Players who install and play Dark Souls completely offline (thus not receiving the 1.05 patch) will have both Forest Hunter Knights respawn whenever the player dies or visits any bonfire. This is positive, since each Knight yields 3,000 souls each time they are killed.
