The Gauntlets of Thorns are a hands armor piece in Dark Souls. They are part of the Set of Thorns.
In-Game Description
- Gauntlets of Kirk, Knight of Thorns and notorious member of the Darkwraiths. A dense patch of thorns grows from their surface.
- They are a fitting item for the murderous Kirk, for by simply wearing them and rolling, one can damage enemies.
Availability[]
Found after defeating Kirk, Knight of Thorns for the third and final time, on a corpse near Quelaag's Sister in the dead end area.
Characteristics[]
The Gauntlets of Thorns are resistant to fire and boast average defense for their weight when unupgraded, but have the potential of having good defenses when fully upgraded, being slightly stronger against slash type attacks.
Deals 20 physical damage when rolling into nearby enemies. The damage dealt is added together with any of the other pieces of armor from the set.
Also boosts damage dealt with gauntlets by 20%.
