The Grass Crest Shield is a medium shield in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Old medium metal shield of unknown origin.
- The grass crest is lightly imbued with magic, which slightly speeds stamina recovery.
- Skill: Parry
Repel an attack at the right time to follow up with a critical hit. Works while equipped in either hand.
Availability[]
Found in the Road of Sacrifices, near the Crucifixion Woods bonfire. The shield can be looted from a corpse lying beside a tree near the first Great Crab.
Characteristics[]
The Grass Crest Shield is unremarkable for a medium shield in terms of protection, but having it equipped bestows increased stamina regeneration, increasing it by 4 points per second. This effect carries on even if the player has the shield on their back when two-handing a weapon in their main hand.
Though it is fairly stable for a medium shield, it is more suited to be used as an auxiliary tool by the player, especially if they utilize larger weapons in their arsenal.
However, it is worth noting that the shield is also capable of parrying.
