Great Magic Shield is a Sorcery in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Sorcery which improves upon Magic Shield. Greatly reinforces left shield with magic.
- Only sorcerer-swordsmen with special duties are permitted the use of this spell, which temporarily grants even the smallest of shields fortitude more akin to that of a greatshield.
Availability
Dropped by a Corpse Grub in a cell found in the Irithyll Dungeon. After the first Jailer, drop down one floor and open the door to the creature.
Effect
Greatly reinforces shield in left hand. Increases damage absorption in all categories to 100% regardless of prior resistances, while increasing stability. Effects lasts for 30 seconds, and can be increased by equipping a Lingering Dragoncrest Ring.
