The Heater Shield is a medium shield in Dark Souls.

Small metal shield. A standard, widely-used shield.

This shield is easy to use, and is one of the smallest shields that offers 100% physical damage reduction.

Availability

The Heater Shield is given to the Warrior class at the beginning of the game. It can also be purchased from the Undead Male Merchant for 1,000 souls.

Characteristics

The Heater Shield has medium deflection and fast parry speed. When upgraded to crystal, the durability is 25.
