Heavy Soul Arrow is a Sorcery in Dark Souls.

In-Game Description

Soul sorcery emphasizing power. Fire heavy soul arrow.

A more powerful, but also slower sorcery. Difficult to use due to a long cool down and a limitation on the number of castings.

Availability

• Sold by Griggs of Vinheim for 2,000 souls, provided that the player has 10 Intelligence or higher.
• Sold by Rickert of Vinheim for 4,000 souls.
• Sold by Big Hat Logan for 2,000 souls, initially with a 15 Intelligence requirement but removes this after the player rescues him the second time.

General information

Heavy Soul Arrow requires 12 Intelligence to use and has 12 uses per slot. It deals much more damage than Soul Arrow, but to compensate it has much fewer casts and a correspondingly long casting time.

The Heavy Soul Arrow's primary usage is as a high damage first-strike attack against unaware foes, and as a combat spell best deployed against enemies with slow attacks and long recoveries. It does 1.8 times your catalyst's Magic Adjustment in magic damage.
