They are found in various groups in the Chasm of the Abyss.
Humanity Phantoms resemble Humanity as an entity and are utilised in the Dark Sorcery known as Pursuers. Humanity Phantoms are different from most other enemies, as they have no attacking animation and can hurt players by simply coming into physical contact with them. They come in three different sizes: small, medium, and large. Their health and drop-rate are dependent on their size.
As long as they are kept at a distance, such as with a long spear, they cannot cause harm. Humanity Phantoms are easy to stagger, like Ghosts. If a player finds themselves in trouble, stop, lock-off, and move away. A wide, sweeping attack is useful when surrounded by the phantoms.
The player can roll through any Humanity Phantom without suffering any damage as long as the roll animation doesn't connect with them at the start or finish. Medium to fast rolls will get the player out of harm's way more efficiently.
