The Iron Dragonslayer is a miniboss in Dark Souls III: The Ringed City.
In-Game Description
- The ancient Dragonslayer Armour, defeated by the Champion of Ash in Lothric, was left ages to rust, until it slipped into an abyssal swamp, where it was possessed once again by the memory of the hunt.[1]
Description[]
The rusted remains of the Dragonslayer Armour that has somehow ended up in the abyssal swamp. Reanimated by memories of the hunts it used to endure, it will awaken when the Ashen One approaches its final resting place.
It is identical in appearance and behavior to the boss encounter in Lothric Castle.

At the far end of the swamp in the Ringed City Streets.
Lore[]
After its defeat by the Ashen One in Lothric Castle, the remains of the Dragonslayer Armour were left to rust for years. It eventually ended up in the swamps of the Ringed City where it was possessed by the memories of its hunts and reanimated itself.
Strategy[]
The strategies employed against the boss version of the armour are equally effective against this version, as it begins the fight with its phase two moveset. The swamp gives the player more room to battle it, allowing for increased maneuverability. It is recommended to clear out any nearby enemies before approaching the Dragonslayer as they may prove to be a fatal distraction.
One trait about this enemy is that once it detects the player, it will pursue them relentlessly around the swamp, even inside the submerged shrine and into the chamber containing the bonfire. It is possible to lure the Dragonslayer onto the bridge where Darkeater Midir ambushes the player and use the dragon's fire breath to defeat it without having to engage it directly.
