The Lizard Staff is a staff in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- Staff used by hollowed Drangleic sorcerers. A catalyst for sorceries and hexes.
- The lizard affixed to its tip is a simple charm and has no bearing to the staff's powers.
Location
- Dropped by the Necromancers in Huntsman's Copse and the Executioner Chariot boss fight.
Characteristics
The Lizard Staff is a very good staff for sorceries, starting with A Intelligence scaling when not upgraded, and S Intelligence scaling at +10. It also has a relatively low Intelligence requirement at 18.
While not as powerful as the Staff of Wisdom and Staff of Amana initially, the Lizard Staff has much higher casting speed, while also dealing high Magic damage.
Notes
- The Lizard Staff is a very rare drop from a non-respawning enemy, thus many players will never get it. The most effective method of farming for the Lizard Staff is killing the two Necromancers in the Executioner's Chariot boss fight. If they don't drop the staff, then save and quit, upon reloading the player will be outside the boss fog, allowing them another chance at getting the staff.
