Characteristics
A rather mundane straight sword, Lothric's Holy Sword is a quality weapon that is distinguished from its peers mainly by its Faith scaling and its skill.
Sharing the title of longest straight sword in the game with the Gotthard Twinswords and Ringed Knight Straight Sword, Lothric's Holy Sword utilizes the Long Sword moveset, giving it a long reach that allows it to easily outspace curved swords and even some greatswords. However, it also has rather sub-par scaling in all categories, meaning that it struggles to deal damage when it does reach its target.
Despite having a Faith requirement and scaling, Lothric's Holy Sword actually scales very poorly with the stat, so in essence it is simply a normal straight sword with a non-negligible Faith requirement to wield, similar to the Astora Straight Sword. This means that rather than being a weapon suited for Faith builds, it is in fact a weapon best used by quality builds that invest a small amount of Faith for utility Miracles like Blessed Weapon and Tears of Denial.
Rather than the standard Stance, Lothric's Holy Sword utilizes a modified version of the skill that gives it longer reach with the lunging thrust. When the strong attack is used, the wielder will launch a beam of light that can reach faraway targets while keeping the wielder out of reach of the foe.
