The Master's Set is a light armor set in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

A terribly worn shirt.
Men are fond of weaving tales to explain the raggedness of their garb.
My sixth sense warned me of danger, and I danced between flurries of blades, unscathed, but alas, my clothes went to tatters.

Characteristics[]

Being made of rags, the Master's Set offers virtually no physical protection or Poise. However, it is extremely light, and provides a surprising amount of elemental defense. This makes it a good choice alongside using the Flynn's Ring if players want to maximize their damage, but still want to have some defense. It is weak to Bleed and Frost build-up, but can withstand Poison and Curse very well.

Generally, the individual pieces are useful for ensuring that an armor slot is not empty, and thus maximizing flat defenses by having something equipped in each slot. So while the individual percentage defense of the pieces is low, they find value in providing protection for builds that are already strained for equip load without requiring them to invest additional points into Vitality.
