The Moon Butterfly Skirt is a legs armor piece in Dark Souls II. It is part of the Moon Butterfly Set.
Description[]
Skirt made from wings of the rare moon butterfly. Poisons those who approach its wearer. Also extends jump distance.
Availability[]
Can be bought from Maughlin the Armorer after spending 16,000 souls at his shop, for 10,000 souls.
Effects[]
The Moon Butterfly Skirt, like the rest of the set, poisons all nearby enemies (including NPCs). However, unique to the skirt and wings, pressing the roll/sprint button will instead do a jump (sprinting can still be done by continuing to hold down the button after the jump is complete). In addition, it also lengthens the jump, allowing players to traverse gaps with more ease.
Even though not stated in the description, it also reduces fall damage. The player is able to jump down to the first plank in Majula's deep pit taking about as much fall damage, as with the Silvercat Ring, when wearing both the wings and skirt.
