- For the Dark Souls variant, see Notched Whip.
- For the Dark Souls III variant, see Notched Whip (Dark Souls III).
The Notched Whip is a whip in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- A whip covered in spikes, Shreds skin and causes bleeding.
- Very effective against bare flesh, but not against enemies with armor or like protection.
Availability[]
The Notched Whip is found on a corpse in Huntsman's Copse. The corpse is located to the right of the path leading to the Undead Purgatory.
Characteristics[]
As a whip, it has the characteristic long range, linear tracking, and inability to be parried. However, it deals the second lowest damage per hit among the whips and can inflict severe bleed build up if multiple hits connect. It's also heavier than the Whip but lighter than the Old and Bloodied Whip.
