Outcry is the most powerful variant of Firestorm, spouting pillars of black flame around the caster. Due to its very limited casts, it's good to pair this pyromancy with Saint's Hood or Hexer's Hood for the added casts. Northern Ritual Band can also be used but only the +2 version provides an additional cast. When paired with one of the above head armors, you can get 3 casts - albeit very slow cast times - with as little as 13 attunement.
Aside from hitting the hardest, this spell also sprouts pillars that are shorter lived than those conjured by the other Firestorm spells. This means that the player is locked in the animation for less time, allowing them to respond to a situation more quickly.
This spell does come with some downsides: the first and most obvious one is that is has a very limited amount of uses and requires two spell slots. Secondly, the spell has its own unique start up animation meaning it can easily be distinguished from such spells as Fire Snake, thereby it cannot be used to keep an opponent player on edge as they know what is coming.
Like all other spells, the amount of casts per slot increases upon reaching certain Attunement milestones:
|Attunement Level||Amount of Casts|
| Acid Surge • Chaos Storm • Combustion • Dance of Fire • Fire Orb • Fire Tempest • Fire Whip • Fireball|
Fire Snake • Firestorm • Flame Swathe • Flame Weapon • Flash Sweat • Forbidden Sun • Great Chaos Fireball
Great Combustion • Great Fireball • Immolation • Iron Flesh • Lingering Flame • Outcry • Poison Mist • Toxic Mist • Warmth
