Pale Tongues are covenant items in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Proof of a red orb invader's victory over a Host of Embers.
- Claiming tongues as trophies was originally the practice of an infamous troupe of invaders, who offered them to their speechless goddess.
Availability
- Undead Settlement
- In the same area where the Demon is encountered, can be looted from the leftmost hanging corpse. The corpses can be dropped by using the piece of ceiling debris below as a stepping platform or via ranged attacks.
- Farron Keep
- Dropped by Darkwraiths.
- Gained through successful invasions whilst in the Rosaria's Fingers covenant.
- Obtained by invading other players while not wearing any of the covenant items.
Usage
- Offered to Saint Rosaria to gain ranks within the Rosaria's Fingers covenant.
- Offering one to Saint Rosaria allows the player to respec attributes or change appearance up to five times in a single playthrough.
Notes
- Pale Tongues seem to have a very high drop rate should the player raise their Item Discovery.
