Pyromancy Flames (Dark Souls III)

Pyromancy Flames are casting tools needed to perform Pyromancies, one of the three main magic types, in Dark Souls III.

Description

Pyromancy Flames can be upgraded with titanite in the same fashion as regular weapons. However, unlike other weapon upgrade methods, Pyromancy Flames can only be upgraded by speaking to Cornyx of the Great Swamp, rather than with Blacksmith Andre.

As with the Pyromancy Flames of Dark Souls II, the Spell Buff of the casting tool scales with both Intelligence and Faith. However, unlike the Fire Attack Bonus of the previous game, which scaled based on total combined Intelligence and Faith, the Pyromancy Flames of Dark Souls III scale based on leveling both stats equally, and lose effectiveness if one stat is favored over the other.
